Preview Settings - Hiding Tax Year Headings (Desktop)

What it is: A preview setting that lets you remove the tax year column headings from specific note pages where they are not needed.

What it's for

Some note pages (such as accounting policy pages or narrative-only notes) do not contain columnar figures and therefore do not need year headings at the top of each column. Hiding them on those pages gives the printed AFS a cleaner, more appropriate layout without affecting other pages.

How to do it

  1. Open a Financials preview (Format tab > Financials).
  2. In the Preview Settings pane, select Year Headers.
  3. Un-tick the page number(s) for any note page that should not display year headings.
  4. Year headings are removed from those pages only; all other note pages retain their headings.
